📢 Call for Submissions – 1st International Conference on Social Memory Technologies | 12th International Digital Storytelling Conference

🗓 Online: Oct 31 – Nov 1, 2025 | In person (São Paulo – SESC CPF): Nov 6–8, 2025

Theme: Lives, Voices, and Knowledge in a World on Fire 🌎🔥

How can Social Memory Technologies inspire action in a world in crisis?

Organized by Museu da Pessoa, StoryCenter, and SESC, the conference will take place for the first time in South America. It will bring together researchers, educators, artists, activists, and cultural agents to reflect on how storytelling can inspire action in the face of climate, social, and environmental crises.

💡 We welcome proposals for academic presentations, workshops, panels, and collaborative experiences, aligned with the following themes:
- Mobilizing Culture for Climate Action
- Indigenous Lives and Biocentrism
- Innovation in Participatory Media
- Latin America and Memory
